Cisco employees will be filling all the volunteer slots on this workday.  Please watch for employee notices at Cisco to sign up for this event.  Drywall installation will be one of the main tasks for the workday.  NO ONE UNDER 16 is allowed to work on an active construction site per our Construction Site Age Policy and every volunteer must complete, sign and turn in a waiver of liability form upon their arrival on site at 8:00 a.m.  Anyone under 18 must have a parent or guardian sign their waiver form and will have restrictions on the activities they can perform on site.  (This policy and Waiver of Liability form can be found on our website at the Volunteer page under Forms and Waivers. You can download the form ahead of time to complete and sign it then just turn it in upon your arrival on site.)
Saturday, March 20, 8:00am - 4:00pm (8 hours)
This build is being sponsored by the Methodist Churches of the Atlanta Emory District.  All volunteers will come from the various churches in this district and sign ups are through a separate website just for this build. If you are a member of one of the Methodist Churches in the Atlanta Emory District, please check with your pastor, lay leader, or missions chairperson for more information.  All volunteers will be meeting at Harmony Grove UMC and shuttling over to the site each Saturday workday throughout the build.

Saturday, March 20, 8:00am - 4:00pm (8 hours)
This build will be our 9th annual all women build site. There will be some sponsors filling the volunteer slots on various workdays. When there are any openings throughout the build, Sign Up will be displayed next to this event description until all slots have been filled. The volunteers will be installing drywall and working on the deck on this workday.  All volunteers must be at least 16 years of age to work on a site.  Anyone under 16 years of age will have restrictions on what tasks they can perform (see our Construction Site Age Policy under Forms and Waivers on the main Volunteer page), and a parent or guardian must sign their Waiver of Liability form.  Each volunteer must complete, sign and turn in a Waiver of Liability form upon arrival and sign in at the site.  Lunch will be provided.  Parking is extremely limited at the work site so carpooling will be necessary. We will be providing a van to shuttle volunteers from the Home Depot on Jimmy Carter Blvd. each Saturday to the work site. Park as close to Jimmy Carter Blvd. as possible so we don't interfere with their customer parking and look for the van with the Habitat logo sticker on the sides.  We will shuttle from 7:30 to 8:15 a.m.
